Quick Overview

Bibhu Padhi infuses his poems with feelings that question his culture's and his own links with nature. In these poems one can discern the sense of an indeterminate destiny ... a tension...that reaches out to the reader, arousing in one a feeling of need that will not be satisfied. Padhi's words seem to echo from life itself, from the "pauses" of loss and death.
